Christine (Taylor) Boykins

SOUTH BEND - Christine Boykins, 30, of 721 Haney Ave., died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, after an illness. Mrs. Boykins was a parttime employee at Burger King. She was born Nov 14, 1960, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 30, 1987, in South Bend, she married Thomas Boykins, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Natasha Nicole, and Toni Marie, both at home; a stepson, Anthony Renee Boykins of South Bend; her mother, Willie Mae Taylor of South Bend; four sisters, Susie Mae Williams, Michelle Thomas and Maxine Stoner, all of South Bend, and Francine Epperson of Indianapolis; and three brothers, Jeffery Taylor and Johnathan Taylor, both of South Bend, and Wesley Taylor of Toledo, Ohio.

She was a 1979 graduate of John Adams High School She attended IUSB.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Clark Funeral Chapel
