In Memory
Bruce Allen Holloway
March 29, 1960 ~ November 28, 2024 (age 64)
We are often called to remember a loved one when death makes a visit. It visited Bruce Holloway on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024. Bruce was born in South Bend, Indiana on March 29, 1960, to Albert Holloway and Irene Curry.
During his 64-year life journey, he lived a simple life. It's in this simplicity, that those who knew him will honor. He loved God, loved his tennis, enjoyed Frankie Beverly & Maze tunes, and quietly served in his community. He was raised on South Bend's Eastside and graduated from John Adams High School. He attended Valparaiso University and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Albert, and Dellar Holloway, brothers, Tommy Keaton Jr. and Charles Keaton, and sisters, Mary Keaton, Rose Keaton, and Martha Hetterson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings, Irene McLeod, Ruby Keaton, Mcewen and Benny. Nieces, Ronda (Charles Pumpuni) Hetterson, Virginia, Rachelle Hetterson, nephew, Rodney Hetterson both of Oklahoma and great nephews, Kojo, Kweku, and Kofi Pumpuni of Virginia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He did his best to stay in the land of the living, but ultimately, he succumbed to his failing health. His family and friends will cherish the memories of his jovial spirit and his spirituality. It is often said that time goes by in the blink of an eye. We blinked and lost a friend, Bruce Holloway. He will be missed.
