In Memory
Sharon “Leedle” (Larkin) Wiseman
Aug. 13, 1954 – Nov. 3, 2009
SOUTH BEND — Sharon “Leedle” Wiseman died November 3rd in the Hospice House surrounded by her family. Leedle was born on August 13, 1954, in South Bend, to John and Patricia Larkin, who survive.
She married Phil Wiseman on June 28, 1975. He also survives along with two children, Adam and Amy. She has seven beautiful grandchildren who survive, Gianna, Caleb, Addison, Alexis, Zachary, Matthew and Braden. Also surviving are brothers, John, Joseph, Michael, Thomas and Robert Larkin; along with sisters, Fran Young, Katey Wojcicki, Patty Ann Sheley, Rebecca Huff, Margaret Larkin and Ann Marie Parks. She also has 40 nieces and nephews and 43 great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss the gift she had to entertain the little people in her life.
Leedle enjoyed scrap-booking, photography, baking and perhaps, more than anything, she enjoyed the time she spent with all the young children who meant so much to her. Mima, as she was known by most in recent years, volunteered her time at Wilson Elementary School.
Cremation has taken place. Today, Nov. 8th, there will be a gathering to honor her life and share our memories held between the hours of 1 to 4 p.m. in American Legion Post 303 on Mishawaka Ave. The family extends a special thank you to The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, for the gentle care they offered her and the support given to all those who came to see her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to the above mentioned hospice or give a few moments to spend with a child.
