SOUTH BEND - Services for Gary Norman Statzer, 27, of 1801 S. Brookfield St., who died about 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital after an apparent heart attack, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from p.m. today at McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road

Mr. Statzer was employed at American Way Chimney Service. Born Dec. 19, 1992, in South Bend, he had been a lifetime area resident.

Surviving are his mother, Jenny L. Statzer and step father, Richard W Plawecki of New Carlisle;  three brothers, Joseph H. of South Bend, Jeffrey A  of Osceola, and James C of West Lafayette, Ind.

He graduated from Johns Adams High School and had attended Indiana University at South Bend and Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
