Dorothy Carol Parker, 81, of Andrews, passed away at 12:07 am Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN.

Dorothy was born on February 16, 1944 in South Bend, IN, the daughter of Fred A. Parker and Mabel Frances (Gilmurray) Parker. She graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend. Dorothy retired in 2005 as a Manager from Scotts Grocery in Columbia City and Kendallville. She also worked at Lowes in Ft. Wayne. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, especially when traveling to Las Vegas. She raised horses and loved living in the country.

Survivors include her Sister, Trudy Kay (Benjamin Lee) Barton of Euless, TX; Half Brother, John Charles Giles of Roanoke, IN; Nephew, Christopher Parker (Frances) Barton of Woodbridge, VA; Niece, Linda Suzanne Canaan of CA; and Cousin, Vicki Nunis of Reading, PA. She is preceded in death by her Father, Fred A. Parker, Mother, Mabel Frances Parker, Sister, Kathleen Mimi Giles, Aunt, Dorothy Nunis, Uncle, Leo Parker, Uncle, Bob Parker, and Aunt Gertrude (Parker) Weston.

No services will be held at this time.

Preferred memorials may be made in memory of Dorothy to the American Cancer Society, in care of Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN, 46750.
