Nichole Marie (Wright) Hopkins

Nichole Hopkins was born April 13th, 1984. And tragically passed away July 3rd, 2026. Nichole left behind a legacy of light, love and kindness.

Nichole is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Hopkins. Her 3 stepchildren, Jeffrey Crittendon and Ja'laeyah and Jaylynn Hopkins. Her mother and stepfather Margaret and Roy Lawson. Sister, Amanda Lawson. Her two nieces, Sophia & Haleigh Carlson. Uncle, Earl Perkins. And her dog, Max.

She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Wright As well as those who welcomed her into eternal peace.

Nichole, or "Cole" as her friends and family called her, was quite a bookworm. She loved to read, with some of her favorite books being written by Stephen King. She also loved a good scary movie. Much like her books, she loved a Stephen King thriller, which was always at the top of her list. And she kept a consistent trove of books and movies that stayed in rotation for regular entertainment.

Nichole also had a diverse taste in music. She loved it all! A Friday night with some friends and good music always felt right.

She graduated from Adams high school, where she made some lifelong friends. She enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. Her friends have expressed a deepened sadness to learn of her passing. Some of which have said that they are forever grateful for the lessons she taught them. And how the grace she extended to strangers never went unnoticed.

Nichole was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. And a source of love and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a beautiful spirit, a compassionate heart and a strength that touched countless lives. Her smile could brighten the darkest of days and her kindness made people feel seen, valued and loved.

Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in the love she leaves behind. As well as the countless memories we will carry with us forever. Her light will continue to shine bright through every life she touched.

May she now rest in perfect peace, surrounded by eternal love and light.

A memorial service, where friends are encouraged to gather and share their stories of Nichole, will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church. With a memorial luncheon to follow. The date is currently pending.
