Elaine (Trahms) Rice, 81, died on May 26, 2006, in Mishawaka, Indiana.
She was born on November 19, 1924, in Spokane, Washington, but was a lifelong resident of the South Bend area. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, John T. "Jack" Rice, who died in 1979.
Surviving are a brother, Vernon Trahms of Sun City, Arizona; son, Chris Rice, and daughter-in-law, Ginny of Seattle, Washington; son, Mark Rice, and daughter-in-law, Susan of Mount Vernon, IN; daughter, Robin Molina, and son-in-law, Leonardo of Puebla, Mexico; daughter, Laurie Rice of Oak Park, Illinois; and son, David Rice of Mishawaka, Indiana; grandchildren, Patrick, Colin, Katie, Matthew, Enrique, Elisa, Megan and Kevin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
