Lynn (Rozewicz) Lawrence

Lynn Lawrence, 34, died Apr. 7, 1990 in Memorial Hospital after an illness.

She was a former director of Voluntary Action Center. appointed m 1479 at age 23, and was a former director of the Justice and Peace Center at Notre Dame She was on the board of directors of the South Bend Hentage Foundation and was involved in the West Washington Chapin Revitalization Project

She was born Aug 30, 1955, in South Bend On Nov 18, 1978 as Lynn Rozewicz, she married Kelly R. Lawrence. He survives with two sons, Jon Paul and Ryan Patrick, both at home, four sisters, Judith C Rozewicz of Portland, Ore., Rebecca Rozewicz and Francine Rozewicz, both of San Francisco, and Cynthia Rozewicz of Sonnet Belgium, and her parents, Stanley and Lorraine Rozewicz of South Bend.

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Near Westside Neighborhood Organization. She was a graduate of John Adams High School, received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a master's in science and administration from the University of Notre Dame

Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in St. Augustine Catholic Church. Runal will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Fnends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Friends Services Committee. Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., handled arrangements.
