Enola Powell, 71, of Indianapolis, who formerly worked in Richmond, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born in Bourbon, she was a graduate of Adams High School in South Bend. She retired from the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis School of Philanthropy in 1992 after 15 years. She had previously worked for IU East and was treasurer and a member of the Milestone Car Society. The member of Lawrence United Methodist Church was an Indiana University and Bobby Knight fan.
Survivors include her husband, John Powell; two daughters, Kathy Waterman of Charlestown and Suzanne Roth of Beaver Dam, Wis.; a son, Paul Powell of Indianapolis; and eight grandchildren.
Service was set for 11 this morning at Lawrence United Methodist Church, Indianapolis. Memorials may be made to Lawrence United Methodist Church.
Arrangements were handled by A.R.N. Cremation Services, Indianapolis.
