I graduated from IU (Bloomington) and moved to East Chicago to begin teaching. I was married to an Army officer for over 20 years. We lived in several states and countries. After divorcing, I settled in Dallas. I retired as a Texas educator after 25 years (i.e., teacher, instructional coach, principal, central administrator, etc). I received a doctorate from the University of Texas at Arlington. I worked at the University of North Texas where I supervised and taught Clinical Teaching interns. Then, I work for the Texas Education Agency. Now, I am also a substitute campus administrator.

No funny stories, but I truly LOVED band, especially marching and playing the tuba.
