I moved to Houston, Texas, after retiring from a Hospice Social Worker, in 2019. I am very active though live in a retirement community (independent) owned and managed by a medical center. I am most active in Toastmasters, have given about 26 speeches, mostly autobiographical with humor. My best speeches centered on driver's ed summer two weeks at Riley HS on a stick shift and how I passed geometry Sophomore year with Mr. Aronson. I grew up with humor and didn't cultivate it until my later years!

After high school I graduated from Indiana University in 1967 and worked for St. Joseph County Dept of Public Welfare 1967 to 1972, moved to Dallas, Texas and raised two boys, until my divorce I was a homemaker in Plano, TX.

I just remember the funny story told in first grade about Mother Goose losing her rubbers.
