After dropping out of high school in 1985, I joined the US Army and served in West Germany for three years as a Military Police officer until April 1989.
I then returned to South Bend and received my B.S. in Criminal Justice from IUSB. After receiving my B.S. I matriculated to The University of Notre Dame Law School where I earned my J.D. in 1998. I then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where I worked for three years in the Law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl.
After tiring of the practice of law in a large firm, I returned to South Bend and Notre Dame were I received my Masters of Education in 2004.
I most recently earned a Masters in Continental Philosophy from Staffordshire University in the UK (2023).
Since then I have been a teacher and currently teach at our alma mater John Adams High School. I teach International Baccalaureate Philosophy, Psychology, Theory of Knowledge and law education classes.
I have also been intricately involved in our 18 time state champion and two time national champion mock trial team since 1998.
Both my daughters graduated from Adams HS. My oldest, Sierra, was the valedictorian in 2021 and now attends the University of Notre Dame. My youngest, Rajiya graduated in 2023 and wants to be a firefighter.
GO EAGLES!!!!
