After high school I married my grade school sweetheart John Peterson in 1963. We were happily together until his untimely death in 1991. Five year later I married a wonderful gentlemen whom I met while in Arizona for a job situation. We married in August of 1996 and lived in a retirement community in Tucson. In 2006 we moved back to South Bend to be nearer my children and grand children. We remained married until his death in 2009. Since then I have kept myself busy working part-time. I have been a hostess at Sorin's Restaurant on the Notre Dame campus which was a very pleasant job. I also worked for Senior 1 Care as a care-giver. I was employed at St. Joseph Funeral Home as a greeter for funeral visitations. Right now I am in a committed relationship with another wonderful man. We have been friends for the past eight years as we bowl together on the same team and have been doubles partners in several tournaments. We enjoy life and have a great time together keeping young and active.
UPDATE: On July 29th, 2018 I married Michael A. Irvine the gentlemen I mentioned earlier. We just celebrated our 5th year of happiness together. We both are retired and enjoying a lovely home in the country but not too far from stores. Life is wonderful for us at present as we do not have any real medical problems except those that all elderly people enjoy (ha ha).
